I agree! That's the funnest part of art I think. I like telling people what I see, or how their piece made me feel. I hope Art never loses that. If all the rest of our freedoms get taken, it'd be nice if Art was the only thing left where people could be honest about themselves, & not fear it.
If the freedoms get taken, some of the art is going to go with them. Particularly film and the like. Hopefully, literary censors will be as stupid as they have been in the past and the message will be found in the subtext beyond the brains of the gatekeepers.
